At Civicly, we're building InformNation for everyone, and we want everyone to be a productive and helpful citizen in their community.
Civicly Envolved Inc. is the company publishing the InformNation mobile app, and is not a government entity nor are we an authorized government vendor -- we are a group that wants to make democracy easier.
Here are rules that govern the InformNation app and platform.
Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the InformNation mobile application (the "App"), a Civicly Envolved product. These Terms govern your use of the App provided by Civicly Envolved, Inc ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
Use of the App
1.1 Eligibility
By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
1.2 License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not use the App for any other purpose or in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.
1.3 User Conduct
You agree to use the App in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. You shall not:

Violate or infringe upon the rights of any other user or third party.

Engage in any unlawful, harassing, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable conduct.

Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App or the servers or networks connected to the App.

Use the App to transmit any viruses, worms, or other malicious code.
2 Intellectual Property
2.1 Ownership
The App, including all content and materials available through the App, is owned by Civicly Envolved, Inc and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You acknowledge and agree that you do not acquire any ownership or other rights in or to the App or its content.
2.2 User Content
By using the App, you may have the opportunity to submit, post, or share content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights in your User Content. However, by submitting User Content to the App, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid-up, perpetual, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, perform, and display such User Content for the purposes of operating and improving the App.
3 Privacy
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
4 Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties or representations of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects or errors will be corrected.
5 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
6 Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason without prior notice or liability.
7 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delaware.
8 Miscellaneous
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Civicly Envolved, Inc regarding your use of the App. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed from the Terms without affecting the remaining provisions.
